Actually,
All components should always share a common ground!
This is simple though, All you need to do is runa ground wire from and to each component!
Ie: Power supply to MB, to Drive 1, Drive 2, etc...

: My mini cabinet I am building is not big enough to mount a PC case inside. Would their be any problems in fixing the motherboard, Power supply, disk drives seperatly onto the wood, or does anything need to be earthed ect?
