If you have to choose between the two you mentioned, choose the Klipsch. They may not have an integrated Dolby Digital 5.1 decoder, but they *are* vastly superior speakers. The DTT2500 is just a scaled-down home theater system using a receiver with too few inputs and not enough horsepower, and speakers which are no better than the ones used on their cheaper models.
But, bear in mind that for a hundred or two more than you would pay for the Klipsch, you could get a very nice Dolby Digital home theater system that would last you for many years, and let you hear DVD movies the way they were meant to be heard. It might well be worth saving your money til you can afford to go that route. Just my 2 pence.
