As an 11-year old in 1980, I remember sticking my fingers into coin returns at arcades hoping to find a quarter just to play a game. Building my own cabinet is my way of getting revenge. (Of course I'm only fooling myself: this will cost well over $1000 by the time I'm done.)
And now I'm sticking my fingers into the back of monitors.
Also, I have a 4-year old daughter. I can't describe what a thrill it would be to see her play Frogger or Ms. Pac Man when she's a little older. What a lucky time to be a kid! Just think, she'd have free and easy access to all those games we coveted on a limited allowance.
