Well, now that I am getting to the end of my project after about 4 months of checking out this great site everyday.... I got to thinkin... What makes us want to dump a ton of money and time into a project like this?
For me... I got hooked on arcade games in the late 70's/early 80's when I was just starting high school. For me it was Stargate and Tron. Over the years I wanted to buy a stargate machine a lot of times but never saw one. Then after I saw others building their cabinets I had to build one too.
Just curious.... what others feel about how they came about starting this project. What made you an arcade junkie?
