The Madcatz dream pad is extremely nice for both hacking and play...It has a button which lets you repogram your key layout on the fly, and has easy places to solder to (if someone requests ill take snaps with my digital camera & up em). Cheap/easy to find right now (Walmart 24.99) but pick em up before christmas shopping starts because they are also great for play. The only analog stick i have found that is better than segas, combined with good grips, the reprogramable buttons feature, cool looks, (comes in normal white and translucant imac type colors), shoulder buttons duplicated with normal type buttons in the 3x2 streetfighter layout etc :)

: You'd have to hack some DC pads to the controls on the panel.

: I plan to do something similar myself soon, tho not to a cabinet. I think I read that the Nyko pads are good to hack - basically you want pads that have the analog shoulder buttons setup as digital inputs - MUCH easier to hack that way.

: You MUST be very careful if you try this - you can fry your DC! I did, but luckily I fixed it later with a cheap fuse from Radio Shack. :)

: -P-

: : I have an NBA Jam arcade machine that I recently purchased and was wondering if there was any way to stick it into the cabinate and have the acade stick and buttons act as controls for the game(s) I play on the DC.
