You'd have to hack some DC pads to the controls on the panel.
I plan to do something similar myself soon, tho not to a cabinet. I think I read that the Nyko pads are good to hack - basically you want pads that have the analog shoulder buttons setup as digital inputs - MUCH easier to hack that way.
You MUST be very careful if you try this - you can fry your DC! I did, but luckily I fixed it later with a cheap fuse from Radio Shack. :)

: I have an NBA Jam arcade machine that I recently purchased and was wondering if there was any way to stick it into the cabinate and have the acade stick and buttons act as controls for the game(s) I play on the DC.
