Jeremy,

Don't give up on AdvancedMame. I believe you have the same cabinet I have and I got it working. Yes, it took me a little while to figure exactly how to use mv.exe. It's easy enough to get into but to make the box fill the screen was tricky. Now that I know how, it's not really that hard, it just looked a little overwhelming at first with all the options. Do like Prophet suggested and just choose a few that come close to filling your screen.

I have the manual that came with the Capcom Impress. It's in Japanese so it's not incredibly helpful but if you need to know which wire is what in the cabinet the schematic is in English. It doesn't have any schematics for the monitor, just the control panel and Jamma connector. I can scan you a copy of the schematic if you would like.

You shouldn't really need it but I would be happy to give you a copy.
