Wells Garder U3100 Arcade VGA Monitor woes!

OK, I despirately need fellow owners of the Wells Gardner U3100 19" VGA/RGM monitor to respond. I got one a few months ago, it looks beyond authentic arcade look, but holy hell if it doesnt skip all around on scrolling! And all other emus that used to synch fine with any cheap pc monitor all now have scrolling tear! Is there a setting in the monitor control pannel I am not getting right to use the U3100 for all emulation, and MAME specifically? I tried -vsync and tripplebuffer, etc. no luck, still wont sync with the U3100. I know advance mame would work but holy crap its complicated! And the readme says I can blow my monitor if I set the advance mame setting wrong! Any u3100 owners please help!
