I would like to add a Tron-type trigger control joystick to my desktop arcade control panel.
Happ sells these, but at 96.00, they're over my budget, and they supposedly require 4.5 inches below the panel, which makes the panel larger than I would like.
Normal PC joysticks have the trigger buttons, but since they are analog, they don't work as well with MAME and if they aren't bolted down, they tend to tip over.
IDEA: What if I take the handle and switches off a PC joysti and attached it to a Happ Super joystick. This would be similar to what Xiaou2 did on the rotating control panel. The main drawback that I see is that the stick could rotate, but I think I can live with that. Are there other drawbacks? Please comment.
