multiple buttons into one. Possible??

I am starting a project making a street fighter type control setup for dreamcast. I was wondering if it was possible to make one buttom which would simulate 3 simult. button presses. Could I just attach three additional wires and solder them to this one? Not sure if this is possible. Any help would be appreciated!
