I got an I-Pac a couple of months ago. It was by far the easiest part of my cabinet project to hook up. It's very straight forward and the shift keys mean you don't need as many controls to run Mame or Arcadeos.
I have two player / 6 buttons each, coin door and a rotary interface (Druins) connected through the I-PAC.
I would highly recommend it. It will save you a lot of headaches.
