Thanks for responding Dave. Great program. The problem with running DOS mame is the picture. I tried to mess with the options but nothing seems to help. I'm using a scan converter to output to a tv. At default there is flicker and black lines running through the picture on the tv. The picture on the pc monitor is fine. I've located the problem as being scanlines, but when I disable them the picture goes all screwy on both monitors. On the TV it is like two pictures merged/overlapping with a large vertical blank line near the center. Can you or anyone else explain how I might set up DOS Mame to work? Thanks.

: Yeah, try DOS MAME instead. Last time I tried to get GL to launch the Win32 version of MAME, I had problems.

: I think the biggest benefit of Win32 MAME is that it can run under the newer MS OSes like XP. And you get better sound card support with DirectX. But if you've got an ISA sound card and Win98, then DOS MAME will be just fine.
