Question about up/down spinners on Discs of Tron...

I've been working on a way of hooking up 2 microswitches to my Oscar, so that I can trip them by pushing in or pulling out on the knob. I just want to make sure I'm doing this right. On the actual DOT spinner, is there just one position for aiming up and one for aiming down? If so, my solution should be just about perfect.
