While the drivers for ati cards are not updated as often as nvidia drivers, right now the radeon drivers are quite mature and very reliable. That's why I would avoid unpopular models like the 7200. If you need tv-out though, there is simply no other alternative. Nothing comes close to the quality to ati's tv-out, especially nvidia. And speaking of drivers, the voodoo card's drivers are quite outdated and will never be updated again.
