The pc monitor is the easiest way to go. This is the way I went. I have a 19" something or other that I got on clearance from bestbuy. It works fine. I think all the games also look fine. Alot of people want a true arcade look which is why they go with an arcade monitor or a TV. The main difference as far as I can tell is on an arcade monitor you won't have as squared of edges on things. I can't tell the difference really and it doesn't take away from the game play.
: hello,
: I'd like to get a PC monitor with an arcade look and by all accounts it sounds like the Wells-Gardners are the way to go. But I can't decide which one to get. I'd rather not go over $300 and certainly not over $400.
: I've narrowed it down to these two:
: K7400 25" for $360
: or
: U3100 19" for $300
: Is the K7400 any good? Which would you choose? Is 19" plenty big enough?
: Oh, I forgot to say that I'm making a cabinet so there are no contraints in that regard.
: Now, here's another complication, I've got a line on a brand new 19" Neotec VGA monitor for around $100 (I don't know the model number). Is this a good deal? Should I get the 19" WG U3100 or the Neotec?
: I'd appreciate any help and advice!
: Thanks,
