Awesome. So you are using the 5V from the MADCATZ LIGHT? How many volts is that light using?

Have you had any problems w/ blown game port resistor?

Any special directions? I'd like to avoid replacing that 5 ohm resistor, if possible.

Thanks again

: Yes, you can use the 5 Volts from the MadCatz controller. That's how I have mine set up.

: : Sorry about the repost. I posted this on the new board; I'm not sure if this board got to view it. Besides, I didn't get any replies. Sorry again.

: : 1) Where do you get the 5 volts? I was thinking about using the light from the MadCatz dreampad, but I don't have my voltmeter handy. Do you guys think this would work, w/ perhaps a few resistors (or lack of them) to get the 5 volts needed? Or can you guys think of a different power source?

: : 2) I read that if you have an *external* source of power, one would have to turn the source on and off ONLY when the DC is powered. This is shitty. Any alternatives?

: : 3) From what I've heard, DC gameports break, especially w/ the Perfect 360. I was hoping to put a fuse along the cord for each directional so this wouldn't happen Again is this feasible?

: : Thanks
