One thing to make sure of is that your PC monitor is not plugged into the J-PAC the same time as your arcade monitor is. That is how I fixed my problem with the arcade mon. having a dark screen.

The problem is with the colors and in general the brigth, the image quality is good, but I cant see anything until I put the bright at maximum level, with the brigth at max I can see the mame image but the colors are very dark and the screen have too much brigth.
