I've heard that Mame is solely dependent on CPU power to run games so 3D is not really needed.

I have an ATI RageFury Pro 128 and other than not being able to read text very well I have been totally happy. S-Video is the key though...don't bother with composite.

: Can anyone recommend a suitable card for me? I know ATI are suitable for MAME, but there are just so many different models. Do I need a 3D card or will 2D do?
