Im just getting ready to finish my cab that is based off of Lusid's plans. It's taken me a little while longer than expected to finish the cab than I thought. Thats probably due to the lack of detail in the cabinet plans, and my inexperience. I figure that it is not Lusid's job to have detailed step by step instructions for me to follow. But it was a great start, though now that I am almost done I would have done it a lot different and probably based it off of an NBA Hangtime cabinet. My brother has an NBA hangtime cabinet and I think that it looks nicer. Easier to cut out, more room to work with, bigger speaker panel, and so on. I was looking to make a cabinet that I could finish professionally by mounting the TV then adding a bezel and then put glass over the monitor and I didnt want to just build a shelf and put the tv in there. After rigging it all up I have the TV mounted (I took it out of the case) and to answer your question a 25"should fit. I bought a 25" svideo samsung TV that I bought at HHgregg, It fit even before I took it out of the case. If you need supports for the monitor shelf, I would just cut two 2x4's and bolt or screw and glue them to the sides and set your board on top. Hopefully Ill have my site done soon. And you can see how I did mine. But I am going to be making step by step plans on making a NBA Hangtime stype cab. If you have any questions on building this cab, email me at shines1@fuse.net -betacrash
: I'm looking for anyone that has experience with building a cabinet based on LuSiD's plans. In the plans there are no extra supports for the monitor shelf ?, also is a 25" TV too large ?.
: And am also looking a parts list...ie Part #'s for Joysticks or Coin Doors. Which ones worked....which ones didn't etc..
: thanks,
