It's probably your mame version. Try vscymame with arcadeos. It's an easy configuration that works very well with arcade monitors. If that still doesn't work, its probably your video card. Get a sis 6326 video card and download the dos drivers for it at my website www.msu.edu/user/jonesdes You could also try advancemame and advancemenu; it's totally a question of preference. I use vsycmame and arcadeos as they work well together and are easy to setup.
