Been gone for 6-8months...please help with arcadepc questions.

Can you help or point me in the right direction? : Hello friends. : I got out of the PC arcade stuff a while back when things happened in my life but are now better and I want to get excited again. But my mame version and system setup was out of date and I upgraded the machine. Its still not great but I have some questions. : What have I missed in the last 6 months or more. I love the neogeo games but they did not run full speed on my machine and were somewhat choppy. I had a celeron 400 and AGP ATI RAGE PRO video card and 128 megs of ram. I am running dos 6.22 regular mame .37 with arcadeos : I upgraded to a P3 500 with 128 megs of RAM and Trident Blade3d AGP. : What version of mame is best for arcade machine with arcade monitor? Advancemame? : Has the Neogeo aspect been improved in mame to run better on my newer motherboard? : What new games that hav come out since X-Men are worthy of consideration? : Will Narc run this machine (Im scared of the answer but I love that game)? : Will more memory help alot? : Is the Trident Blade 3d still a good card? I bought it about 6 months ago to use because everyone at the time was saying it was a really good dos card.
