I'll ask him today, but I believe he does the same thing as you (i.e. map alt-f4 to a button). AFAIK it works fine on his machine which is also Win98.
I can look into adding a remappable exit key, but I don't have much development time these days.

: The game loads. Problem is, when I exit Gens (with alt-f4, I wish he could build a remappable exit key in there) - EmuWizard locks up on me with a black screen. Does the same thing happen to your friend? I'm using Win98, so I'd like to hear what he's using if it works.
