Newbie wants to say thanks!!

Hi all,
Newbie here and I just spent the last couple of days reading most of these old posts and just want to say thanks!!! There is a TON of information out here that I think is going to be very helpful.

I found a guy in my area who was building a MAME machine and wants to sell it not quite finished, mostly artistic, Marquee and Bezel not done. Otherwise it is in working condition.

Anyone have an opinion on whether I should take this on? I have no experience with building these machines. I can post more details if anyone is interested.

Also, I want to encourage all Newbies to read through these posts first if you have questions.... there is just so much here to take in.
