4 Sidewinders and a Glitch

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can offer a solution...

While building my MAME cabinet, I had installed 2 sidewinders (daisy chained) and games played great. After finishing the cab., I added the other 2 sidewinders for a total of 4. I immediately noticed that the system would glitch for about 2-3 seconds every 30 seconds or so.

I'm running Athlon XP 1800 CPU with 512Mb RAM, Win 98 SE, and nothing else loaded to the system except for the sidewinder utility and MAME32. I also have a CompUSA trackball and mouse-hack-spinner installed in the system.

Has anyone else run into this situation with 4 Sidewinders installed? Also, if I remove player 3 and 4 sidewinders, the system gets much better, but still glitches every couple of minutes.
