Jonathon is right the 13/16 tee-mould is used for 3/4" panels covered with laminate, usually we always use a wider mould and its trimmed down with a tee-mould trimmer, the wrap around tee-mould should be measured inside, if you want to know where your tee-mould is really made check out a company called Outwater Plastics or Charter Industries, most likely Outwater they are suppose to be the worlds largest manufacture and resell just about to everyone (probably including tee-mould.com) but I can't remember what there minimum is, we buy the 400' rolls I believe, but they offer te--mould in almost every fractional width, I know 7/8", whether the minimum order is met would be the problem, the sharpie marker fix Jonathon used is pretty clever though! take care Matt
: I am going to add t-molding and lexan to my control panel and had a question on thickness...
: I see from t-molding.com quite a bit of 13/16 thickness t-molding. My panel is 3/4" thick, adding a 1/8" lexan top will bring it to 7/8" (14/16). Is the 13/16 meant for that (to leave a little "buffer") or should I re-do my top with 5/8 wood, 1/8 lexan and get 3/4 t-molding?
: Also I really like the look of that gauntlet replacement molding that has the overlapped edges, but its 13/16. I wonder if that means the total height or the part inside the edges? Bah.
