And on the subject of cutting wood. I make the straightest cuts with my circular saw. I just make my lines of where I want to cut. Then I measure the distance between the saw blade and the edge of the metal guide. then make a second paralell line the same distance away as the saw blade from the edge of the metal guide. Then I clamp a straight board or a 2x4 to the second line. When I but the guide of my saw up to the 2x4 it should line up perfectly with my original line (the one I want to cut) and the best thing about a circular saw is that you can usually cut through two pieces of material at the same time. You may think that this is elementary, but I wish someone would've told me before I started my cabinet. -betacrash
