advancemame and menu....holy cow, i need help!!!!!

got the latest advancemame and advancemenu. i love the mng feature. anyway, 2 q's....why doesn't advmame recognize the cheat.dat?....why doesn't it recognize cabs, titles, marquess, etc (or is it advancemenu not recognizing it)?
