Yeah, I think to create anaccess db from nothingness you might need access there.
Not sure, but sicne you use will need to use dsnless access you will need at leas the Jet4.0 drivers. Win98 people will need to install that. It's the drivers that support access 2000.

Because the JET drivers are built into windows all you need to do is supply an access db. Just supply and empty one. You don't need access isntalled on the system. But I'm not sure about actually creating the mdb file from scratch, never did that. Will have to search deja.com quick to see.
