In Reply to: Lethal Enforcers, Mirrored Monitor, Will It Work With MAME? posted by Chris on February 12, 2002 at 12:09:22:
You can try to flip the picture in software but it's easier and better to flip the yoke wires on the monitor. It may even have been done already. Obviously playing with your monitor is dangerous, but this isn't to complicated. Try searching for info on "yoke"

: I just bought a Lethal Enforcers cabinet. It is in perfect working condition. I bought it to convert into a MAME machine. The J-PAC seems to be the easiest way to make it all work. However, I have a question that I just cannot seem to find an answer to. My Lethal Enforcers game is in JAMMA format, but it uses a monitor that is laid in, facing up, and a mirror projects the picture out to the user. Does the JAMMA board automatically flip the image so that it is not reversed after traveling through the mirror, or is there something I should do to correct this? I have looked around on the Internet for help with this problem, but have come up empty handed. I just wanted to know what I'm jumping into before i tear this beauty apart and try to MAME it. Any information, advice, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
