Hey, I was just wondering the other day, what is the best cabinet to modify for a MAME machine. What works really great?
I have narrowed the controls down to this
3 Joysticks, 2 8 way, 1 4 way all leaf switch style(NO microswitch for me)
7 Buttons for each 8 way, 4 buttons for the 4 way, 2 1/2 Player buttons, 2 Coin buttons
1 Spinner mod(Still trying to figure out if I need 2, anyone know of games that need 2 spinners?)
2 Trackballs(2 Player Terminator 2, whoo hooo!!) Hey are the Wico trackballs any good?
I was wondering since I have such an extensive control panel plan, I need a lot of room. Plus, in the long run, Four player games are going to be needed for that all out TMNT game. I am moding it so I can install controls later on which will be cool. It will be easy to install them on after I get Phase1 done. Heh.
Also, is it possible for me to run 2 IPACS if I use the USB cable? If so that would help me, if not, I will need to figure out how to remap all the keys on the IPAC so four player won't be a problem with this game.
