Got mine SB16 PCI card to work in dos. MY Irq was set as 7, I changed my autoexec.bat to have this line in it... Set Blaster=A220 I5 D1 T2 and it seemed to work. I also made sure that my config.sys loaded Himem and EMM386 NOEMS NOCVPI. I also have a line that loads the sbinit.com file in my autoexec.bat. Hope that helps!
