dhansen, help with hd spinner?

I'm having a problem with the hd bearing. I took the drive apart with a drill and screwdriver since I don't have any torx bits (I'm too impatient I guess). Anyways, I got it all apart and found that the bearing doesn't rotate very smoothly. It feel like the brushes (or whatever) in the motor are rubbing. Do you think I may have knocked something loose or broken a shard of metal off into the bearings? Does yours spin smoothly?
