USB Keyboard emulation advice...

I'm about to start ordering parts to make my first cab. I'm wondering what people's opinions are on the "USB Keyboard Encoder and Trackball Interface" from Hangstrom, and the "USB Game Control Interface" from Happs (other than the fact that it's really expensive). Anyone have any luck or problems with either? Thanks for the feedback.
