Think about it, you are taking an NTSC picture and upscanning to a 640x480 LCD.

Your only other option is buying an LCD which is already cofigured for NTSC input (usually lower quality)...like the $150 LCD screens for a PSOne. I think I've seen some go for $90 on ebay.
