Cool project! Why more people aren't using a DC in their arcade projects I don't know...can't go wrong at $50...and you get to play *modern* games! Sorry if this sounds blatenly obvious, but why not just use 2 DPDT (double poll double throw) switches? Otherwise you will just have to make your own quad QPQT switch :-)

: Well my dreamcast powered bartop cab is coming along nicely, and now I'm to wiring up the controls. Given that many dreamcast games require the analog stick, I've decided to attempt to emulate the anolog controls with a standard arcade joystick. The details of how to do this can be found at the DC2Jamma project. Basically the analog controls can be wired such that a digital signal results in a "full press" for the analog input.
: I want the joystick to be able to switch between normal "d-pad" and emulated analog control. To accomplish this, I must be able to close input from the joystick to the d-pad while I'm sending to the analog controls, and vice versa when I'm using solely the d-pad. I would like to make the change by merely flipping one switch.

: Joystick Microswitch 3---o-------(to digital)

: Joystick Microswitch 4---o-------(to digital)

: Any ideas as to how I can accomplish this via a small rocker switch on my bartop control panel? Space is at a premium, so a standard printer switch can't be used.
