Well I landed a 2.5' x 45' roll of black contact paper on ebay for $10. Given those dimensions, it'll be able to completely cover even my huge control panel without any seems. The black marble I'm currently using looks to be about 1.5' wide, and the use of two layers has left a quite unsightly seem across the upper portion of the panel.
The seller seems to sell only home decor items, so there may be a chance they could provide you with a roll.
