I'm totally agree with Howard. ArcadeFX is a really good front-end now that it is release ;-)
A-Player have start from the screenshot taken on your site and inspire me a lot. There is a "before ArcadeFX period", and now, an after. Thanks for doing it !
With all the great projects inspire by your fe and your fe itself, I don't know if A-Player still need to be continue... I'm looking what all fe's authors are doing and better think in a way to give some help if I can.
What I actually think is that a community is emerging about fe and that we (authors and users) need some space to discuss it "seriously". It is clear that here, discussion about fe came too often.
For example, one idea I have is that, as a user of a fe, I don't mind which emu launch a game, I just want to choose the game, and it is the fe problem to launch the good emu with the good parameters... (a hint to Howard ;-)
One other thing that could be cool is to made an "rfc" for emu authors to have a standard to launch emu with gamename and parameters, a standard way to configure keys for emus (I hate S11 to have his own keys not configurable)... Perhaps we could propose to emu authors some standard C++ code.
Just an hope in my point of user view...
