Yeah, and there is just one search engine, one emulation site, one news site, etc... on the internet as well right?
I guess I should also assume that all 350+ project sites linked to on BYOAC are all the same too right?
BYOAC does have a lot. This site is enormous. I'm not looking to replace it or substitute it. I'm trying to create a site that is based on easy to follow tutorials to ease the task of having to search and search or see the same questions all the time.
Thanks.
: I'm not sure if you realize it or not, but www.arcadecontrols.com is...how do I say this...the biggest site on the net dedicated to...pretty much everything you just described below...sorry

: : Woo hoo! AD in Da House! Man, I've missed you guys (and gals?). Well, here's the big announcement:
: : Mamecab.com is a new site dedicated to the building of custom arcade cabinets complete with real arcade controls and components; and running real arcade games by using the arcade emulator Mame, Dreamcast, Playstation 1 and 2, and various other systems.
: : The site differs from BYOAC in that it focuses on easy to understand, printbale, "how-to tutorials" to simplify the task of building custom arcade machines, also known as “mamecabs.” Mamecab.com strongly focuses on the help of the community of "mamecab" builders to contribute their own how-to's to create an expansive database of information. I believe that it will help the hobby to grow even greater.
: : The site also contains message boards about mamecab building so that questions can be asked and answered by visitors to the site. I know some people prefer a different style message board than the one offered here and MameCab.com offers an alternative.
: : Mamecab.com will also be the future site of Arcade Command, my personal custom built mamecab.
: : The site is small so far, but the site will grow and be a large database of information for mamecab builders.
: : Look around and head over to the mamecab.com message boards and tell me what you think!
: : For those that don't know me, I use to be one of the most frequent posters on BYOAC. School (Ohio State) got kind of hectic so I took a break from everything with the plan of coming back with my own site that would also be the home to my project. Mamecab.com is what I came up with.
