Dimensions of 25" or 27" TV's without case

I'm using an old Zaxxon cab for my Mame project and the width is only 24" inside of it.

I've read on here that some have removed the TVs from their case / shell to make them fit in an arcade cab.

For anyone who has done this, what is the width of a 25" or 27" TV once it's been removed from it's shell?
