Tim from www.arcadecollecting.com was the one who originally posted the 49-way to analog curcuit. The pic of the circuit is available here (http://www.arcadecollecting.com/info/49way_to_Hall.gif). When I bought an NBA Showtime cab from him, he left in 3 of these 49way sticks that I still plan on converting into analog sticks for my playstsion2.

: I've heard of someone building a circuit board to make it act like a analog joystick. I don't know if you can easily hack them other then that. None of the mame drivers support three buttons for left and three for right. I also don't know if you need any power or anything special. But it wont be an easy thing. You might be able write a driver in mame to convert key 'x' to analog left value a. 'x' and 'y' to be alalog b (2xA). 'x' and 'y' and 'z' to be analog c (3xA). But remember that you will need a keyboard encoder that can handle 12 buttons per joystick! (I think there are three in each direction right?)
