My reconditioned cab originally had a front mounting bracket. I chose to remove it and install a shelf that was angled backwards at 45 degrees. This steep angle was necessary to match the design of my cabinet.
To prevent the TV falling off I used climbing webbing to strap the TV into place.
The advantage is I have not had to remove the casing on the TV or modify it in anyway. The disadvantage is I would need to remove the TV from the cabinet if I were to transport the unit to a new location.
