: realistate will be your first trouble. If you want all that, consider going for a hotswappable control panel. So you can add more things later.

: Trouble you will have is making all the connections. You can use a special compile that allows 2 spinners / wheels on one mouse port (the normal mame doesn't allow this), analog mame is one of them (and I dont' remember the other).

: Then you have to decide how your going to hack them. Do you already have the wheel encoders? If so, Opti-pac is great. Or you can build your own for like 5 bucks each. Or you can hack a usb trackball (and this allows for 2+ trackballs in mame using analog mame...)

: last, consider 3 steering wheels... For championship sprint :)

Well...I am fairly new to all this stuff. Programming or hacking anything is probably a bad idea =)

So, based on what I've seen here and read elsewhere...would this work:

A trackball and two spinners (one on Y, one on X), and then two steering wheels wired to same X and Y as spinners (since neither one would be used at same time)?

Also, the Oscar spinner seems to have a USB on it already..what exaxtly does the Opti-pac do for you here?

Thanks SO much for help!
Brian
