That's why you put the I-pac before the hotrod, like this:
computer -> I-pac -> hotrod -> normal keyboard.
I can program the I-pac this way. I haven't extensively tested four player games with this hookup (the I-pac control panel is still WIP), but the little I have tested seemed to work fine.
