I don't think they look as good as a SVideo. If you have looked at the spyhunter images of a svideo and a svga (anyone have them? I would love to get a copy)? Anyway, the SVideo had better color depth then the SVGA. Made a difference. It also had a 'rounded' pixel look that SVGA doesn't have.
Anyway, the EYGO's look like a SVGA monitor with scanlines added. They are very square pixels (like they could have had a higher resolutions, but they just decided not to).
The size is great. But many people have imperfecsions. I have a wavy line that moves top to bottom. But you can't notice it at all if a game is playing. Black screens only.
The shipping has been an issue for most people. They might have fixed this, and they were good about sending replacements. But many got broken tubes because something got loose in shipping.
And they are hard to mount unless you build your own cabinet. They don't fit in a standard cabinet size without removing the frame... Just annoying, not a huge deal.
Oh yeah, about the svideos. If you can mount them with the frame, you have a warranty.
SVideos are more expensive by a 100 bucks or more
