Advancemenu is the only real alternative to arcadeos. You will need special hardware, however, inorder to get it working. It requires a supported video card. You will need one of the following, a matrox g400 (recommended), an older ati card based on the mach64 chipset, or a sis6326 video card. You can pick up a matrox g400 off of ebay for about $50, and a sis or ati card for about $20.
