After a few e-mails with Andy, he believes it's a defective board. He shipped a new one out to me yesterday.. great guy!

: : I'm having a problem with my IPAC. When in a game, the shift function doesn't work. I've seen this problem in the past when one of the buttons was wired to the NC tab on the microswitch but this time it isn't the case. When in a game, I can push 1p and 2p simultaneously and get it to escape but the same won't work with the p1 and fire buttons for coins. Any suggestions? This is the seventh cabinet with my seventh IPAC so I hope it isn't a newbie error!

: : (I sent this to Andy at Ultimarc, but with the time difference I was hoping someone could help me stateside)

: : Thanks!

: Out of interest Doug, are you using the USB connector, or the PS/2 one?
: Try switching the lead and see if that fixes the problem?
