22 gauge solid here for switch wiring, 18 gauge stranded for 12V DC lines. Got both from RadShack.

Still unsure whether I'll use an old AT power supply for the 12V lines to other things like fans and lights or if I'll finally give up my coin acceptor power supply that I use for testing car stereos and such.

: Out of curiosity, what Guage wires is everyone using for their buttons and wiring, and where do you buy the stuff. I'm currently using 24AWG for the switches and 18AWG for the ground, but only because it salvaged it from my cabinet before conversion. I checked Lowes and Home Depot and the don't really have much. Thanks
