If you use an encoder the answer is yes, or it's so close you won't be able to notice. If you use a keyboard hack or some other nonsense, the answer is definately no, since they won't even handle enough simultanious keypress to play these games correctly.

: So i'm really intersted in building a Mame/emualtor cabinet. However i have one question that i'd like answered before i start. If you use a keyboard encoder to operate the buttons and joysticks, do fighting games respond as they would i nteh arcade (ie rotate stick 1/4 and press fierce to throw a fireball. Or are there problems doing this because the computer isnt accustomed to taking that many commands at once? What about any 2 player problems? Thanx for any help
