I have some Cambridge speakers in the cab and they have a volume control that's not directly on the speakers.

You can see the volume control hanging over the sub in this picture:

Currently, that volume control is under my control panel and when I'm playing, I just have it hanging out the side, but I plan on hacking into it and adding a scrolling knob (as opposed to a turney-knob - ya know - like a spinner) to the side of the control panel.
