hi everyone, i recently added a madcatz dreamcast pad to my previous sidewinder hack. so before the addition, it was as follows:

sidewinder + joystick and 6 buttons

now, it's sidewinder + joystick + 6 buttons + dreampad-all sharing the same joystick and buttons

however, the dreamcast hack works perfectly, but now the sidewinder doesn't anymore. when i go into the control panel, it shows all my buttons pressed (#1-6) and the joystick in Down-Left postion.

i shared the ground for the sidewinder and dreampad. i soldered all the hot wires from both the SW and Dreampad to all normally open (so there are two hot wires going to each button). it's just when i added the dreampad, it makes the sidewinder have all the buttons pressed. it makes no difference if i press the buttons or not, control panel shows it is pressed no matter what i do.

is sharing 1 button between two different control pads a bad idea? was the sharing of the grounds what might have caused this? thanks alot. btw, both controls have never been plugged in to the computer/dreamcast at the same time. Thanks again.
